Amy Bowman is a marketing and communications leader and entrepreneur with experience in healthcare marketing, investment analysis, and nonprofit leadership. A determined and non-traditional student, Amy supported herself while attending Utah Valley University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and minors in Business Management and Marketing.

Early in her career, Amy joined AIM Ventura Capital during its founding year, where she played a key role in building the firm’s branding and marketing from the ground up. As an Associate, she conducted due diligence, financial analysis, and forecasting to support investment decisions, and advised portfolio companies on operational and strategic improvements.

In 2020, Amy relocated to Biloxi, and she quickly became an active community member, serving on the committees and boards of several local organizations. She currently serves on the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is Treasurer of the Hibernia Irish Society, where she has also been selected as the 2026 Colleen.

Professionally, Amy spent nearly four years as Marketing Manager at Merit Health Biloxi. Following the hospital’s acquisition, she transitioned into her current role as Director of Marketing & Communications for Coastal Family Health Center, where she leads strategic marketing initiatives.

Beyond her professional career, Amy is passionate about sharing Irish culture with her community. In 2022, she opened the Niall O’Leary School of Irish Dance in Mississippi, bringing more than 20 years of teaching experience to the region. Through her school, she has introduced hundreds of students to Irish dance, earning a reputation for high-quality instruction and engaging performances for dancers of all ages.

In 2023, Amy founded a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting Irish culture through dance, song, and music. She directed the first Irish dance festival and competition to ever be held on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, bringing hundreds of Irish dancers and their families to the region. The event's success has led to ongoing recognition and support from the Consulate General of Ireland in Miami, and the festival is now in its third year.

Amy's leadership and impact have been recognized with her selection as one of the 100 Successful Women to Know on the Gulf Coast in both 2022 and 2024. She is also the 2026 Karen Sock Woman of Achievement Young Careerist Award Winner.

Outside of her professional and nonprofit work, she enjoys traveling, hosting themed parties, attending fine arts shows of all kinds, and spending time with her Miniature Australian Shepherds, Merry and Pippin.
